Cousin, I see you were smitten with oxblood red this past fall, too!  Who wasn't?  It was a HUGE color trend.  I only invested in a couple of key pieces like this jacket and skirt from H&M.  Fortunately, I got a TON of utility of out of them and can see myself wearing them well into the spring.  #shoppingsuccess

Cousin, I went to the Georgetown vs Cincinnati game today and lets take a moment to talk about the Bearcats uniforms.  Wow.  I know.  Terrible right?  It actually looked even worse in person.  Athletic gear has come a long way and these uniforms just took it back to square one.   The funny part is that you are going to hear all about this fashion faux pas from commentators who wear the worst quadruple tie knot, pocket square combos.  Yep- the pot calling the kettle black!

Maybe I should take a stab at redesigning these uniforms...

Freezing. Again.

My my... that Chuck Bass.  So handsome! Btw, I know I told you this but I saw him in the LES last summer and he looks even better in person. So glad I chased him down the street to take a picture with him.  And no, I'm not ashamed of it.  Actually, quite proud of it. 

Anyway....I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't know when to wear a vest.  I'm either freezing or sweating-- true story.  I think when Bo took this picture, I was freezing and probably why I look somewhat angry.  Don't get me wrong, the fur helped but needed some sleeves that day.  Maybe this means I need a fur coat.  Hmmm.

Btw, this color, Oxblood, LOVE IT.  Just like how I love Chuck Bass (I love you too Andrew!).

The Perfect Boyfriend

Cousin, love the bow tie.  It's so Chuck Bass!  

So I took a more casual take on menswear by pairing a super feminine silk blouse with the "perfect" slouchy boyfriend jeans and chunky-heeled sandals.  Ironically, the jeans are called the "Ex Boyfriend" by Genetic Denim.  Let's hope they last longer than any of my exes did :-)

Cousin!  When I tell people I wear bow ties, they either don't believe me or don't think I can pull it off. 

So to prove them wrong, here is my favorite look with my favorite bow tie.  What do you think?
