Epic Packing Fail

Sunnies: Celine, Sweater: Soyer, Vest: Zara, Shorts: Vintage, Boots: Uggs
Photography by Steph Wells

Lets talk about an epic packing fail.
I really should have listened to everyone who warned me about the schizophrenic weather in SF.  Thank goodness I was able to manage to walk around in your Uggs-- complete lifesaver!  Only redeeming part of my outfit fails was that you let me sport your super duper lux sweater and vest!  Oh, and loved those new sunnies, but you know I had to part with them.  Wah, wah, wah!

Anyway, thank Steph for me as I'm sure she thought I was a photo hog!  Time for you to meet my uber talented photographer, Bo!

See you on the east coast-- the best coast.

Cousin.

Black & Gold Errthang

Sweater: J.Crew. Pants: Theory. Belt: H&M (similar here). Necklace: H&M. Bracelets: Forever 21.  Shoes: Givenchy. Bag: Chanel. Photography by Steph Wells

Happy Memorial Day!  I'm so not ready to go back to work tomorrow.  Emotional hangover!!!

So I've been on a serious gold binge this month: necklaces, bracelets, belts.  Gold errthang.  My favorite way to wear it is against an all-black outfit.  It's perfect for days when I want to be comfortable at work but glam it up a little bit.

xoxo, Linda

P.S. I can't wait for you to see the pics from our photoshoot in SF!

Animal Instincts

Sweater: Ralph Lauren (old). Tank: Zara. Jeans: Genetic Denim. Belt: J.Crew (old). Shoes: Givenchy. Bag: Ferragamo (vintage). Sunglasses: Alexander McQueen. Photography by Steph Wells

You don't have to ask me twice about throwing on an animal print.  Make mine leopard, please!  So, I originally bought this printed tank with a matching pencil skirt last spring from Zara, but it was a little too leopard-y so it's been sitting in my closet all winter.  Your post inspired me to dust it off and man it up with my favorite boyfriend jeans and vintage clutch.  What do you think?  Does it reek of cougar?

A Pop of Red

Sweater: Soyer. Jeans: DL1961. Bag: Chanel. Sunglasses: Alexander McQueen. Photography by Steph Wells

Cousin, how fun was March Madness in Vegas?!?  I can't wait to go back next year.  Just remind me that sports betting is not in my wheelhouse.  Yes, I'm still reeling over Duke.

So I've been on the hunt for a neutral bag to fill a gap in my wardrobe.  I originally was thinking of getting something in beige, but realized it didn't pop against any of my dark clothes.  After a lot of deliberation, I found the perfect color...

Say hello to my little red bag!

Freezing. Again.

Vest: Adrienne Landau, Sweater: Rugby, Scarf: Missoni, Boots: Zara, Sunnies: Ray-Ban

My my... that Chuck Bass.  So handsome! Btw, I know I told you this but I saw him in the LES last summer and he looks even better in person. So glad I chased him down the street to take a picture with him.  And no, I'm not ashamed of it.  Actually, quite proud of it.
Anyway....I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't know when to wear a vest.  I'm either freezing or sweating-- true story.  I think when Bo took this picture, I was freezing and probably why I look somewhat angry.  Don't get me wrong, the fur helped but needed some sleeves that day.  Maybe this means I need a fur coat.  Hmmm.
Btw, this color, Oxblood, LOVE IT.  Just like how I love Chuck Bass (I love you too Andrew!).

Anything boys can do, GIRLS CAN DO BETTER!

Photography: Esther Park
Sweater: Rugby, Shirt: Rugby, Bow Tie: Rugby, Tux Pants: Ann Taylor, Shoes: Oscar de la Renta, Earrings: J. Crew, Sunnies: Dior

Cousin!  When I tell people I wear bow ties, they either don't believe me or don't think I can pull it off.
So to prove them wrong, here is my favorite look with my favorite bow tie.  What do you think?
Ah!!!  I love tuxes, I love wingtip shoes, I love ornate cufflinks, I LOVE MENSWEAR!
Anywho, hope I proved that anything boys can do, girls can do way better! Jean

Weekend Camo

Sweater: Zara. Pants: Zara. Sandals: Alexander Wang. Sunglasses: Alexander McQueen. Photography: Jim Lee

Diesel isn't a brand that I associate with high fashion (actually, what comes to mind is Bridge and Tunnel) but I'm definitely feeling the leather, studs and denim that they sent down the runway at NYFW.

Ugh, our spring-like weather in already a distant memory.  Fortunately, I got to take my new yellow sandals (paired with camo pants) for a spin before winter reared its ugly head back in SF.

Happy President's Day! Linda

Winter Neutrals

Sweater: SOYER. Jeans: DL1961. Sandals: Givenchy. Photography: Jim Lee

Thank you global warming for the "wintry" 60-degree weather in San Francisco!  No idea how long this is going to last, so I'm busting out all of my spring gear.  I've been dying to wear this new sweater by SOYER, a knitwear brand designed by Soyun Shin (reppin' South Korea).  All of her pieces are super sophisticated yet super casual and each has a little twist which I love!

Honestly, I can't say that I'm missing the mind-numbing East Coast winters right now.  What's the forecast in NYC?
